When do you need to switch store ownership?

  • When you wanted to change/replace to another email address

  • When you accidentally insert the wrong email address during registration

  • When you wanted to switch the owner of the store

📌 Important note :

  • Only the STORE OWNER is able to proceed with this action.

  • You can only switch the ownership to an admin, vice versa. 

Step 1 : Go to EasyStore Admin Panel > Settings > Staff

Step 2 : Click on the name of the admin that you wish to switch the ownership to. Make sure you have added them as one of the staff first.

Step 3 : Click "Switch to Owner" button on the page

📌 Note : Only STORE OWNER will see the 'Switch to Owner' button

Both old & new owners will receive an 📩 email notification after the action is updated. 

Once you have switched the ownership to the new account, you may go to the EasyStore Admin > Click "I forgot my password" to reset a new password.

You will receive a notification email to the email address that you have registered in EasyStore. Reset the password in order to log in to your account.
